About This Role

We are seeking skilled Carpet Subcontractor Installers to join our team. The ideal candidate is eager to learn and grow in the trade. As a Carpet Subcontractor Installer, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including new construction and residential remodels. Our locations in Medina, North Olmsted, and Akron offer a range of experiences for installers. With a focus on teamwork and development, we provide training for those with no prior experience. This role offers a chance to start a career in flooring installation, with potential for advancement to a crew leader position.

• We operate on a Monday – Friday schedule.
• Compensation is based on experience.
• The opportunity to grow into a crew leader role is available.

• The carpet subcontractor installer will install carpet using stretch-in and glue-down methods to meet company standards.
• They will work accurately and with attention to detail when installing broadloom and carpet tiles.
• Installers will work on both new construction and residential remodel projects.
• They are responsible for maintaining a clean and organized job site, adhering to company standards.
• Safe work practices are paramount, and installers must ensure they work efficiently at all times.
• Installers work as part of a team, learning from experienced installers and supporting colleagues.
• Effective communication is key, and installers must communicate with project managers, team members, and clients.

• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and a set of basic tools are required; specialty tools can be provided or trained on as needed.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Willingness to learn and motivated to grow in the trade.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• No experience required; experience in carpet installation is a plus.
